Resources hosted on an Online Learning Platform - points to note

The following format should be used when referencing resources hosted on a Online Learning Platform.

 

Standard format format for the type of resource e.g. Book chapter/Journal Article followed by:

[online excerpt in VLE] Module title. Available from: URL of VLE. [date of access].

 

As yet, there is no fixed standard applied to citing electronic sources – the key is consistency. If you apply a consistent style throughout your work, your reader will be able to understand the information and trace the sources that you have used
