User ID & Password: you use the same login details as for all College systems.

Course Code: You will need your course code to be able to find your course and access it.

Online Digital Library and Information Skills Modules

The Modules cover mainly Harvard and instead of covering it in one long session, you will be able to work through the modules at your own pace to learn about it.  If you forget anything you will be able to go back and look at it again if you like.  The Modules start  at a very basic level moving up to Level 7.

There are tests in each of them which you will need to complete before moving onto the next one.  If you feel you are struggling with it, then we will be offering either group workshops or one to one sessions depending what is needed. Each time you complete a module successfully you will receive a certificate.

Blackboard (Virtual Learning Environment)

Blackboard is an online system which you can use to access course materials and handouts.

Each course has its own area on Blackboard and you can access the system by inputting your User ID and Password.  You can also access all the Modules here to help you with Harvard.
