Renewing your books

What happens if I haven't finished with my book before it's due back?

We do charge fines for late returned or lost material.  Remember you can avoid fines by renewing your books online, by telephone or in person. If the Learning Resource Centre is closed you can return books via the bookdrop at each site.

 If you think you have lost a book please do contact your Learning Resource Centre so the problem can be resolved swiftly.

 

Fiction

There is a wide range of fiction books to choose from, ranging from entry level upwards.  If you can't find what you want, please ask.  Most of these books are in The Hive (round room), ask a member of staff for access.

Starting Point

Starting point covers a wide range of non-fiction books at a basic level of readership and understanding.

Fiction

 The fiction is divided up into different sections

  • Basic Fiction - ranging from entry level upwards
  • Barrington Stoke
  • Quick Reads -  Shorter stories
  • Penguin (orange) and MacMillan (red) - both levels 1- 6.
  • Graphic novels - basic level upwards.
